My body fat is around 16%.
I do a whole lot of cardio and quite a bit of weight training as well. I’ll actually do around half an hour of cardio in the morning, do about 25-30 minutes of weight training, and then hop back on the tredmill for another half hour.
In the evenings, I’ll just do a good 45 minutes of cardio, and maybe a bit of pilates.
So I get in about 1 hour and 45 mintues of cardio a day (I try), and maybe 30-45 minutes of weight training.
On REGULAR days, however, I probably do just get around an hour of cardio in; sometimes I can’t even squeeze in any weight training!
If you are very serious this, then you can visit my friends’ website; he’ll put a workout and diet together for you, but you’ll have to pay. He’s a professional fitness model, though.
First of all…. Keep in mind, working out is part of a fitness model’s job. It’s part of their workday. They spend much of their time in the gym. If you’re like the rest of us, you probably don’t have that kind of time to devote to it.
However, you can use some of the workouts do get closer to your goal.
Check into interval training instead of standard cardio. It takes less time and the trends say it offers faster results. Also, instead of doing standard weight training, you might try doing strength circuit style workout. This allows for cardio like calorie burn while getting the resistance training done.
Hope that helps.
